Made in America
“Is anything made is this country anymore?” That is a question that I have heard being asked more often in this bad economy. High unemployment, inflation, national debt, home foreclosures, and high vacancy in industrial and commercial property is enough to make a person wonder when this will all turn around in our lifetime. When you walk into your local retailer, you will be hard pressed to look at a product label and find that it states ‘Made in USA’. Some people do not care, but it has been a longtime passion of mine to make sure I buy American made products if that choice is available and if I can afford to pay the premium that products made in this country sometimes command. When you buy a product made in America, you are keeping the dollars flowing in our economy and not sending them overseas. You are supporting our country and you may even be helping to keep a family member or neighbor gainfully employed.
As you set out to enjoy your weekends, Kinetic Shift will now be featuring one product or company each Friday that is still being made or manufacturing in America. The more products that we find, the more that we will post. Sometimes they will be cutting edge and sometimes they will just be an American classic, but they will all be fitness and sports related.
