ORSM: Darn Tough Vermont to Unveil Light Cushion Sock
The Outdoor Retailer Summer Market is quickly approaching and Darn Tough Vermont revealed that it will have a new sock to introduce at the show. Darn Tough Vermont plans to show its Light Cushion sock, which has a number of new features.
The company sent us a few details and a photo of the women’s light cushion in no-show. The sock has half the wool yarn weight of comparable socks. It consists of 17.5 micron, which is a measurement of the wool’s diameter. The sock has an ultra high density, no-bulk cushioning on the instep. A breathable mesh with an anatomical flex panel sits on top of the foot. The sock is made using a softer merino wool and uses stronger, longer yarns that help lend to the softness and durability.
