Nike Goes to Court
We’ve seen a number of Nike shoes this year, but the Nike SB Challenge Court is aimed at two seemingly different types of athletes. As Nike shows in the video below it can appeal to both Gino Iannucci, Nike Skateboarding team rider, and tennis champ Jon McEnroe alike!
In fact this new shoe is inspired by the original 84’ that McEnroe wore. The new SB Challenge Court takes that look and has added hobnail cupsole, Lunarlon midsole/sock liner, a nylon mesh upper trimmed in full-grain leather and added an extended ankle collar. The new shoe will be available this month from Nike retailers and skate shops for around $80. It could be the shoe that allows you to skate to the tennis court.
